9-11 Sep 2026 Paris (France)

General information

The annual Density Functional Days in Tübingen have been established in 2013 and were organized jointly by Joseph Brader (U Fribourg), Roland Roth (U Tübingen) and Martin Oettel (U Tübingen).

The workshops communicate progress in methods of Classical Density Functional Theory and intend to cover fundamental aspects of the statics and dynamics in homogeneous and inhomogeneous systems as well as selected applications.

Announcements and programs of past editions are available on this page.

After a 2025 edition in Nancy, we are delighted to announce that the 2026 edition of the DFT days will take place in Paris (France).

The program will be finalized within the next months, but you may already save the date and book travels and accommodation. The talks will begin on Wednesday 9 Sept at 2pm, and will end on Friday 11 Sept around noon.

The meeting will take place at Sorbonne Université, Campus des Cordeliers, 15 rue de l'École-de-médecine, 75006 Paris.

Dinners (free of charge) will be provided on Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12.
